History

How BeLuxCham was Started

Established in 1980, MBLBC is a non-profit organisation which aims to assist people and businesses from Belgium and Luxembourg in Malaysia, and strengthen their ties with the Malaysian business community. In 2021, MBLBC has been renamed as BeLuxCham Malaysia, as we upgraded from a Business Council to a full-size Business Chamber.

EXCELLENT PARTNERSHIPS

We have an excellent partnership with the Belgian Embassy and the Luxembourg Embassy and Consulate as well as the national and regional Trade and Investment Promotion Agencies, giving you access to experts as well as trade missions and government delegations visiting Malaysia.

COMMUNITY SHARING

The strength of our Chamber equally lies within the aggregated network of its members. Each of us comes with a wealth of knowledge, connections and experience, which we all gladly share in a spirit of trust and helping each other.

CLOSE RELATIONSHIPS WITH ESTABLISHED BUSINESS GROUPS

We keep close relationships with other established Business Groups and Chambers in Malaysia and throughout the region as well as with the Malaysia based universities and associations. BeLuxCham Malaysia strives to assist its members in their various dealings with the Malaysia Government and its Ministries and/or Statutory Boards.

FOUNDING MEMBER OF THE EUROPEAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

BeLuxCham Malaysia is a founding member of the European Chamber of Commerce (EuroCham). EuroCham represents and protects European businesses in Malaysia. Through our relationship with EuroCham, our members get interesting information on advocacy initiatives managed by EuroCham as well as access to European focused events.
