BELGIUM ECONOMIC FOOTPRINT

An economic mapping study was conducted with the aim to provide both the Belgium Embassy in Malaysia as well as BeLuxCham with an overview of the Belgian contribution (including Belgian linked companies) to the Malaysian economy. This study is mainly spearheaded by Hervee Claeys and Elias Ramaekers, both Postgraduate students from Belgium who had undertaken their summer internship of 2023 with the Belgium Embassy in Kuala Lumpur. The cause of this study is supported closely by His Excellency Peter Van Acker, Ambassador of Belgium in Malaysia and Mr. Pierrick Massaux, First Secretary. BeLuxCham endorse the effort of conducting this study and assist closely in providing relevant contact. We have a total of 19 respondents from respective companies coming from various industries.
